WHAT A DAY!! ZERO wind! Take off/land ANY direction! Field in excellent shape. Thank you, whoever! Touch and go full length of the field, approach on idle! Only problem was the humidity. Good until one o’clock, so no big deal! Just me and Kelsey, and we get along pretty well, so no problem at all. Missed you guys (whoever you are). :D
June is on the log book!

Well I got my July flight in July 2. The corn is getting tall. I was afraid to get too far from the field as I was by my self and no spotter.

Oops! Sorry I missed this day! Lake water was like glass, and the temp was nice for a change. With my luck it’ll be two weeks before it’s nice enough again, to get a flight in!

whew! Today was like making a carrier landing, where you had to be towed back on deck before you could get out of the cockpit! So close you nearly missed it! Got in a July flight! actually, two, before it got so hot I had to seek shade! Kelsey got in an 'insurance' flight also. Brezzy, but not as bad as I've ever known. Back in the day, we would fly in 30* temps with Gale force wind, and called it great fun! ;) the field had just been mown, thank you whoever. (Kip, or Steve, I'd guess). I'll have to research that today :!:

July flight completed! It was a hot afternoon but happy to get back out there. Thank you to Stephen who helped me with some calibration on my plane.

July is finally done! I was starting to get a little worried I wouldn't find time to make it out. Did manage to get 6 flights in. Maiden my new jet ( I have had it for almost a year  ) Flew the airliner a couple of times. All around great afternoon.

It took a whole week... to get everything just right to log the August flight! Met Kelsey out there and both of us had success, with mild wind and a strong sunshine after morning rain! :P . Looked like the runway had just been mown, and the grass was still green, so there must have been enough rain in the past to keep it alive. Oh, yeah! The corn is as high as an 🐘 s👁. Figure that out and you could win this months wise guy award! (No prize, but everyone will be amazed) :!:

Finally got August taken care of today. I tried on the first, fairly light winds and not terribly hot. Took the Tiny Toni out and launched. Made one circuit around the field and was coming across for a low pass and dumb thumbed it into the ground. Its being rebuilt now.

The next weekend went and tried again with my bloody baron. I have a launch button programed on that plane to add up elevator when I launch. For some reason that stopped working and it was not pretty. :x It is fixed and waiting for a calmer day to fly, a little breezy for it today.

I was successful with the cub. Still a little breezy for it but since it is so over powered (that's what the throttle is for) didn't have any problems. Managed to get multiple take offs and landings in. Now on to September. Only 4 more months left. :)
