August flight down! Had to compete with the wind this morning but beat the heat!

September flight is complete. Managed to get multiple flights in during the Scale Aviation Day Event yesterday. For once the weather cooperated with us for an event. It was a little warm later in the day but the winds were right down the runway. Only three more months to go.

Good day, mostly. Weather man nearly right, forecast was for LIGHT wind, and it was breezy most of the time. Had an issue with transmitter battery, bur worked a 'work-around' (like NASA),and got a charge. Made a PERFECT flight, from start-up to shut down. September is on the books!

I went to the field work party, Got there just in time to mow the pits and parking lot. Then Kip fed us Hot dogs with his geat chilly.
Then I got my September flight in. All in all it was a great day.

September flight done on Wednesday the 6th. It was a nice day to get a few flights in.

October is still early, and we got a perfect day to log our flights for the month! I got in four, I think! Had so much fun, I lost count. Kelsey got in air time and so did Kieth. He really flies the jet! Hope there are a few more days like this one.
And, oh yeah, both the Oklahoma teams won this week!

Great day at the field today. Not a cloud in the sky, mild temps and light winds. You couldn't ask for a nicer afternoon. Managed to get 8 flights in, evenly split between my cub and the GV. Hope we get a few more days like this. October is done. Only two more to go. Where did this year go?

October flight in the books! Just 2 more to go! It was a great morning at the field. Light winds and great temperature.

Nov 4, and five of us got in flights for November. Jim Kale, Gary and Jimmy, and Kelsey, and me! Breezy but down the runway for the most part. Not out of control, but ground handling was a little tricky on the taxi down wind. But really a good day! Logged several flights, and some touch and go missions. Looks like Kip has been busy on the fence row and it is Great! Thanks Kip!

November 2023 flight in the books. Great weather this morning and light winds. Lost connection and had a corn field landing on the 3rd flight. No damage to the plane and flew fine afterwards so not sure what happened. One more month to complete the all seasons flyer! Come on December give us some good weather!
