Interesting 3D printing project

I found this today in the news. Very interesting story. I can't wait till the printers get affordable. 8-)

Nice looking airplane.
The guys need a little help with the aerodynamics. Landing gear placement is off. Probably what exacerbated the first failure.
But what a great way to build.
