S.A.D. Scale Aviation Day is coming up. September 2nd at the field. See attached flyer for information. Hope to see you there.

For the second year in a row we had a successful Scale Aviation Day. The weather was sunny, a little warm with a wind that wasn't bad. We had 16 pilots attend with quite a few spectators. A little bit of everything was flying, helicopters, war birds, general aviation, military and civilian jets.
Flying started at 9:00 am and we finish around 4:30 in the afternoon. There was a large contingent from Lawton who made the trip up. I was nice to have them come fly with us. A big thanks to Kip for making his delicious hamburgers and Mike for helping with set up, food prep and clean up. It was a very enjoyable day of flying. Here are a few pictures from the days activities.
