I got the side windows and back window glued in place . Now I can install the interior side panels after I back them up with the foam board.

I worked on fitting the side panels and then backing them up with form board. I also used wire and hot glue to stiffen the upper part between the windows. Next I will be painting the interior parts .

Well I got some paint on the interior parts. I still need to add some Red on the side panels. The seats are going to be Red. The floor gets some gray carpet. After that I need to figure out the best way to glue them in place. I picked black hoping it will hide some of the imperfections of the interior kit.

I spent a lot of time today cutting out the seats. The material is about the thickness of printer paper and very hard to work with. The only good thing is you can cut it with small scissors. Next I have to figure out how to put them together. I don't see any way I can do it the way they recommend using 1/4 " strips of the paper thin material glued to the inside . I also worked on the steering wheel. I started by filling the inside of the steering wheel with epoxy and "Microballon" as filler. After it sets up I will cut it out of the surrounding material .

Kelsey,
Did you use any special type of paint on the interior plastic? I've got some to paint on a model and just wondered what to buy...

I'm still working on the seats . The material is so thin it's hard to work with. I cut some 3/8" balsa to bond the two sides together. I Epoxied them to one side, leaving 3'16 " sticking out. I then let it set up before I put the other side together. Next I will use body filler to smooth out the joint. I hope it all works out.

Well I'm heading down the home stretch on the interior. I got he seat together. It turned out to as much work as I thought it would be. Next is to use filler to smooth out the joints and then get some paint on them. I painted the red on the side panels where the pleated panel are and then added the carpet. They are now ready to be installed. More pictures.

I finally got the seats ready to paint and the side panels are finished and ready to install. I will probably let the paint set up for a while before I install them.

I'm getting close to being done with interior kit. It's turning out better than I thought it would, considering how flimsy the material was. I got the seats painted. I just got my new Frsky receiver and 2500 mAh NiMh battery. Next I need to program my Taranis radio and check out the operation of the Lights , Elevator , Rudder. and nose wheel steering. :)
