This is a great site, with a lot of good reviews. Here is a review on the FRSky 2.4 system I've been using for the last three years without any problems. I now have eight planes and one heli on FRSky

These guys make one of the best stands for working on large models out there. You would think it's a bit pricey but the craftsmanship is excellent! Check it out...
