Club Signs

The new club signs have been received :D

The new signage will be placed on the assembly line right behind the new pilot benches... The picture below shows the base signs without framing that will be added prior to mounting them at the Wagner road entrance :)

Made from the same materials that the signs on the end of the pavilion were made of that we installed in May '05

Also the same stuff as used on the brown storage buildings signs in '15

Re: Pilot Stand Replacement

Initially we were looking at building two of the pilot stands off the same large plan. After evaluating this thing it appears it will be great for larger birds but due too it's size might be difficult to use with 40-60 size aircraft. Updates: Entering the final stages of production on the first benc...

Memories....Sing along! The Sequel...

Ok my train jumped the tracks on that last post! I forgot to mention that I successfully learned again how to fly (somewhat limited I might add) with my Eagle 63 ARF but sold it within just a few months to a guy in the city. But back to my monologue....I found my original Eagle Kit at a swap meet a ...

Memories....Sing along!

I had an similar experience like that with an Eagle 63, I think it was a Carl Goldberg model? I first joined the club around '84 and purchased the kit (that's a bunch of sticks for you younger guys) from Les who was working at Campbells Hobby House. I gave like $65 for the kit and of course spent pr...

Re: Pilot Stand Replacement

I like this one as well, the gas pipe uprights are a great idea but I'm afraid the extra storage area would just prove to be a Mud Dobber condominium? We could try one and see if that happens?

Thanks Guys!
