For the second year in a row we had a successful Scale Aviation Day. The weather was sunny, a little warm with a wind that wasn't bad. We had 16 pilots attend with quite a few spectators. September flight is complete. Managed to get multiple flights in during the Scale Aviation Day Event yesterday. For once the weather cooperated with us for an event. It was a little warm later in the day but the winds were right down the runway. Only three more months to go.

Just received conformation that the FAA has approved Hollman Field as a FRIA (FAA Recognized Identification Area) site. :D This is great news, it saves all of us the hassle of buying and switching a module from plane to plane every time we fly. August Newsletter. Just made it.

The club had a fun fly last Saturday. Even with the spotty weather 6 members managed to get multiple flights in. We had 8 members attend and 3 guests. The hot dogs were tasty and the conversations interesting. If you were not able to make it you missed a good time. Here are some photos from the day....

Finally got August taken care of today. I tried on the first, fairly light winds and not terribly hot. Took the Tiny Toni out and launched.
